SUMMARY:Taunus hike to the new Hardtbergturm
DESCRIPTION:After a long break\, Pickwicks is back in the Taunus for another adventure! \nThe walk will take us from Kronberg station to the Hardtbergturm. As a reward for climbing to the top of the hill\, this futuristic new structure offers a beautiful view of the area from its 27 metre high platform. After the descent\, the next reward is lunch at La Fattoria in Kronthal. From here it’s an easy 30-minute walk back to Kronberg. \nThe details:\nMeeting point 1:\n\nFrankfurt Hauptbahnhof\nPlatform 104 (underground)\n09:50\, to catch the S4 at 09:59\n\n(As everyone seems to have a pensioner’s ticket or DeutschlandTicket these days\, we won’t bother with group tickets any more; please get your own ticket to Kronberg). \nMeeting point 2:\n\nKronberg station\n10:20\n\nTrains from Kronberg back to Frankfurt run every 30 minutes; we will try to catch the S-Bahn at 16:08. \nThe total walking time is 3 hours\, with some moderate ups and downs.
