Extraordinary General Meeting at Lilium

The purpose of this Extraordinary General Meeting of the paid-up Pickwicks members is to approve the amended statutes following the agreement at the AGM in March that the committee would revise the statutes and submit them for approval later on in the year.

The changes are largely related to financial matters, in particular the committee’s right in future to determine the amount of the annual subscription as deemed appropriate at the end of each year.  Copies of the relevant pages of the statutes will be distributed on the day, and every point amended and subject to approval will be explained.

This is an important meeting, and we hope for a good turnout, as a majority of paid-up members present is required to approve the changes.  We’ll meet at 7 p.m. as usual, and the formal part of the meeting will start at 8 p.m. sharp; it should not take long.

We’ll be in the room downstairs at the Lilium, as it will be quieter there.
